Creating a New Dashboard Template

You can create a dashboard template from your current personal IT Asset Management dashboard so you can share it with other users. Creating a dashboard template requires a role with the Configure FlexNet Manager Platform properties access right (located under Administration > IT Asset Management Settings > IT Asset Accounts > Roles > Administrator > user account > Configure FlexNet Manager Platform properties ).

Dashboard templates are created as a snapshot of your current dashboard. If you make additional changes to your personal IT Asset Management dashboard, existing dashboard templates created by you are not affected.

To create a IT Asset Management dashboard dashboard template:

  1. Click Dashboards > IT Asset Management .
  2. Click the Manage Dashboard Templates button.
    • The Manage Dashboard Templates dialog appears.
  3. From the drop-down list, click Create a new template from this dashboard .
  4. Enter a relevant template name.
  5. Click the Create button to create your new dashboard template.
