Getting Started with an SBOM Parts Search

Use this procedure to access the Advanced SBOM Parts Search slideout from where you to define, run, and manage advanced searches on SBOM parts.

To access the Advanced SBOM Parts Search slideout:

1. Open the Manage SBOM Parts page ( SBOM Management > Manage SBOM Parts ).

2. Click Advanced Search above the SBOM parts grid to open the Advanced SBOM Parts Search slideout.

3. Proceed in one of these ways:

   • To perform an ad hoc search without saving it, see Performing an Ad Hoc Search of SBOM Parts.
   • To perform a previously defined search, see Modifying a Previously Saved SBOM Parts Search.
   • To save and perform a new search, Creating and Saving a New SBOM Parts Search
   • To modify and perform a previously saved search, Modifying a Previously Saved SBOM Parts Search.
   • To delete a previously saved search, see Deleting a Previously Saved SBOM Parts Search.

4. (Recommended) Before running a search on the SBOM parts, remove any filters that have been applied to the grid by clicking the icon above the grid. (If no filters have been applied, the icon is displayed without a refresh symbol.)
