Poll Everywhere

Poll Everywhere lets your audience interact with a live presentation using their mobile phones. Ask them questions, or have them ask you.

The following sections explain prerequisites, resources, and instructions for integrating with SaaS Management.

Required Minimum Permissions for Poll Everywhere​

The Admin role is the minimum permission required for calling Poll Everywhere REST APIs.

Poll Everywhere Authentication Method​

The Basic authentication method is required.

The following credentials are required:

  • Username
  • Password.

Integrating Poll Everywhere With SaaS Management​

To integrate Poll Everywhere with SaaS Management, you first need to create a User Report in Poll Everywhere. Perform the following steps to create the Poll Everywhere User Report, and then integrate with SaaS Management.

To integrate Poll Everywhere with SaaS Management:

  1. Sign in to the Poll Everywhere portal with Admin credentials.
  2. Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
  3. Go to Account Admin and click Data Exports . The Data Exports page opens.
  4. To create the users report on the Data Exports page, select the Export Type as Users and click Create . In the Completed Exports table, the Export Type of User is added to the bottom of the page.
  5. In SaaS Management, add the Poll Everywhere application. For more information, see Adding an Application.
  6. Copy and paste the Poll Everywhere Admin’s username and password in SaaS Management.
  7. Click Authorize .
